As mothers we often get caught up in managing home and running around to complete all tasks in time that we generally have no quality time to spend with our children. Do you remember when was it the last time that you played with them in the sand? Play time is also filled with you keeping an eye on them playing outside while you continue to complete your jobs in the kitchen.

Though you try your best to cook meals at home and make interesting stuff to eat, children are always lured by the junk food that they find attractive from outside. Though not consciously you end up buying those chocolates, pizzas, dough nuts and pastries etc. Of course they have the attractive advertisements that lure them with very nice pictures. So children learn to grow up binging on chips and soft drinks. For some time you must have tried to put a stop to it, but over a period of time you do loose focus and then give up. As it is getting children to eat in time is a big task and end of the day you are glad if they eat anything at all. So a pizza be it you just give in and let them have their fill.

This happens to all of us without any exceptions. Of course children are too young to be aware of what to eat and what not to eat. Many children do end up having sensitive stomachs and develop allergies as they grow up. Many others tend to develop cavities quite early in age. The number of children who visit pediatric dentists for their dental problems especially with regard to the infections is very high.

There are also incidences of increase in obesity and diabetes hitting children quite early. Obesity is becoming a major factor that is a real threat. With more and more children resorting to playing games on TV and on their laptops, the physical exercise is getting limited. They are no longer spending energy in playing outside sports. But the intake is not reduced and continues at the same pace. This imbalance of input and output in calories is taking its toll and children are learning to binge on fried snacks and soft drinks. This is definitely not a healthy trend and as mothers you have got to watch out. While the risk of diseases like heart problem and blood sugar problem may be a little far fetched in most cases, yet the risk of stomach infection is very common in most of the cases with regard to children.

Have you noticed your child feeling lethargic and beginning to take too long at eating? Has he developed an aversion to food and always complains that he feels like throwing up? Well do not treat this as a case of indigestion and neglect. It is quite probably that he has developed some fungal infection in the stomach. There are several cases of micro organisms getting settled in our stomach and other organs through the food and water we consume and the fungi cause infections. This is one of the most common problems that children as well as adults face.

It always helps for you to get your doctor to prescribe a course of Diflucan once in six months or once a year depending upon the age of the person. The doctor might prescribe oral diflucan tablets to be taken for two days or a week depending upon the severity of the infection. Within 24 hours the drug starts taking affect and the child starts to feel the relief. It is advisable to give him lots of liquids to drink and let him take it easy on food for a few days until the infection is cleared out and he starts feeling hungry again. Remember hunger is the sign that his body is in perfect condition. Anytime he doesn’t feel hungry and is lethargic you can be sure you have got to call for a course of Diflucan.
