Duphaston is considered to be the most effective drug for treating bleeding and abdominal pain during pregnancy, menstrual periods, female infertility, irregular periods and endometriosis.

How Taken

The drug has to be taken only on the advise of the doctor.

Missed Dose

It is better not to miss any dosage. If yu have forgotten a dose and remember it, take it before the next dosage. If it is time for the next dose, then leave the missed one. A double dosage should be avoided.

The medicine should be used only by those for whom it has been prescribed it.

It is better to discuss with your doctor about your health history. If you have any allergy to any food, medicine or any other substance, you have to tell the physician. Before taking the drug, you have to tell the doctor if you have any history of depression, cardiovascular problems, diabetes and renal impairment. The drug should be avoided if you are liable to get pregnant.

As Duphaston passes into the breast milk, breast-feeding should be avoided when taking the drug.

It has been found that some medicines interact with Duphaston. So it is better to tell the doctor if you are undergoing any medication.
